Our Ready for Life programme is aimed at giving students the opportuntity to develop and practise important life skills. Our students spend time at one of our onsite houses each week learning how to look after a house. They experience how to use different cleaning equipment and products correctly, plan and cook meals, write shopping lists, go to the supermarket to buy food and prepare for a small gathering of guests. The programme is pupil centred and built around the ability and needs of pupils. There are series of Agored Cymru accredited courses that can be accessed and all skills learned help to prepare our students for life after Heronsbridge.
